In order to get the most out of your system, please take a few minutes and read through the entire guide.
Now let's get down to basics. Your Lead Capture System allows up to 5 campaigns (autoresponders), the first thing is to decide which of the campaigns will be used for the Splash Page and which campaigns will be used for sales campaigns.
Here's how it works
Your splash page will be the URL (EX. http://www.bighitbiz.com/business101.php?id=(id)) that you will use in your sales campaign emails. The autoresponder connected to your splash page should contain your follow up email series (The series describing your opportunity, product, or service). The sales campaigns should contain a sales series encouraging people to go to your splash page.

IMPORTANT:
Before promoting your Lead Capture splash pages make sure you have completed the following steps:
1- Add a message series in the *View/Edit/Add Autoresponder Messages section for each campaign, go to Video Tutorials for more information.
Remember Your sales campaign should direct people to your Splash Page URL (EX. http://www.bighitbiz.com/business101.php?id=(id)). If you don't have a sales series..see marketing tips below.
2- Customize your splash page. (if you are using a ready made splash page skip this step) Under Manage Account.. Click on * View/Edit My Account Information. Fill in the fields using plain text. 3- Upload your image. Your image needs to be on your computer, simply click browse, find the graphic on your computer then press upload image. The graphic is 150 X 150 pixels, the system will reduce the image you upload to fit the space however it could distort the graphic if it is too large. The previous graphic will be over written.Need a graphic? Access our image library here

We strongly recommend that your purchase a domain name.. as a personal domain name will look much more professional and will be much easier to remember than your assigned personal bighitbiz.com links and will protect the lead capture system against spam complaints.
- A DOMAIN is www.SOMETHING.com
- A REDIRECT is then having the domain name you purchased point to an existing site, so when someone types it into their browser, the site you want them to see will come up.
We recommend purchasing a domain name, such as your business name, i.e. "http://www.jonesworldwide.com" and then having it redirect to one of your personal bighitbiz.com URL: (EX. http://www.bighitbiz.com/business101.php?id=(id))
The "(id)" represents your Lead Capture Campaign ID#.
Here are the steps to follow to first PURCHASE and then REDIRECT your domain name:
- Choose your Domain Name
Check for availability and follow on-line instructions
Setting up your redirect
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Under the Domain Names section, select Manage Domains.
- Click on the domain name you want to forward.
- In the Domain Details section on the right, click on the plus (+) symbol next to Forwarding.
- In the Forwarding section, select Click here to see details or to modify.
- In the Forward To field, type in the URL you want to foward your domain name to. Remember when setting up the (FREE) redirect be sure to use your exact bighitbiz URL of the lead capture page you want to use: (EX. http://www.bighitbiz.com/business101.php?id=(id))
- If you want to mask your domain, select the Mask Domain checkbox and enter a title and meta tags in the appropriate fields.
Most members create a sales campaign to drive traffic to their lead capture page. It is important to use an autoresponder that you are not using with one of the LCS Templates.
If you do not have a sales series, we have a generic one you can copy, simply go to the Copy Messages From Another Autoresponder section, choose generic@leadcapturesystem.com from the drop down and enter the password capture... Warning this will over write any messages you have set up
USING THE SIGN-UP REDIRECT:
Our system has a generic signup redirect page, you can redirect your splash page sign-ups to any page you want by simply adding the URL in the "*Set Sign-up Redirect" section under Form Code

Using YouTube & MySpace Embed Code:
Once you find the video you wish to use, click on the video, you will see a section that will like like the example below:

Copy the complete code and paste it into the video code section in the view/edit My Account information section and click update now, once you are redirected back to the page you will see the current video you just added to your video template. To change the video simply paste the new embed code into the video code section and click update now.
Custom Fields for Video Templates:
Other fields used in the video template are, company name, header, slogan, and text1
Using Your own flash video:
Simply replace the movie value= and the embed src= in the example above to the url for your own video and paste it into the video code section as explained above.
Please note: the video size should not exceed a width of 430 pixels and a height of 350 pixels.
You may use as many template as you like, simply promote the url for each different template.
